9.30 – 10.15 Webinars, how they work and how to keep the audience engaged, provided by Yves Meijsen, senior consultant at KPN / Getronics.
At the start of the day you’ll become acquainted with a new development in the field of presentations: webinars. A webinar is a presentation held via a (web) camera and allows you to share material with large groups. Yves Meijsen will not only illustrate how it works, but will also give you advice on how to keep the audience captivated.
10.15 – 10.25 Break
10.30 – 11.30 (Non) sense of PowerPoint, by Sylvie Verleye, author / presentation expert. Sylvie Verleye, a Flemish newsreader has recently published her book “Stilte, ik spreek” (“Silence, I’m talking”) in Belgium. She is an authority in the field of speaking authentically and will tell all about presenting while remaining yourself. One of her specialties is avoiding the pitfalls of PowerPoint.
11.30 – 12.30 PREZI, how it works and its strength, by Zoltan Radnai, community manager of Prezi. Prezi is an online presentation tool offering creativity space. Zoltan Radnai from Budapest will explain how to use Prezi for presentations and he will demonstrate how easily it can be used. For the first time in the Netherlands he will explain why Prezi has been designed.

15.00 – 16.15 Workshop
16.15 – 16.45 Presentation of the Prezi Pro Award by Zoltan Radnai, with examples of the best Prezi users and explanations at to why they are the chosen winners.

In the afternoon you can participate in two workshops. You can choose from:

  • Webinars, provided by various employees of KPN / Getronics
  • Speaking authentically; get feedback on your own short presentation
  • Prezi *, provided by Zoltan Radnai, assisted by Simone Levie

* For this workshop you will need your own laptop. Take it with you when you register for this workshop.

After this day you will be able to:
